About FlowChat
A small team building one thing well.
FlowChat is a citation-grounded chatbot platform. We crawl your site, chunk it heading-aware, embed it with late chunking, retrieve hybrid + rerank, and answer with verifiable sources — or refuse when the corpus doesn’t cover the question.
Why we built it
We watched too many teams ship “AI chatbots” that confidently made up the answer and called it done. The customers stopped trusting the bot. The support team stopped trusting the bot. The metric the project was supposed to move — deflection, satisfaction, ticket volume, whatever the board cared about — went the wrong direction. And the team that owned the rollout spent the next quarter explaining why.
We thought: this is fixable. The fix is structural — a bot that cites every claim, refuses when it doesn’t know, and reads your docs the way a competent human would. Not flashy, not novel, just the work most chatbot platforms skipped because the deflection-rate number on their marketing site looked better without it. We did the work and packaged it as a product.
How we work
Small team, focused product. We don’t do agent actions, we don’t do live chat, we don’t do helpdesk — we do one thing: a citation-grounded chatbot that lives on your docs site, plugs into whatever support stack you already run, and refuses when it should. Easier to build well by being narrow than by being broad.
We publish the trade-offs openly. The comparison pages tell you when a competitor is actually a better fit. The ROI calculator uses our real conservative deflection ceiling, not a marketing best-case. The security posture documents the 60-second revocation window we publicly own. We’d rather lose a deal to honest scoping than win one we can’t deliver.
